Jerald W. Jones | President
Jerald W. Jones is President and CEO of Curecrete Distribution, Inc. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1965. His association with Curecrete Chemical Company began in 1970 as an applicator purchasing the Ashford Formula from Curecrete's Los Angeles production facility.
During the ensuing seven years, Jerry pursued a two-fold focus educating an unfamiliar audience of architects, engineers and owners on the concept and merits of concrete densification as well as applying Ashford Formula on many significant projects throughout the Rocky Mountain Area.
After purchasing Curecrete Chemical Company in 1978 and moving its corporate headquarters and production to Utah, Jerry began a career long task of continuing to educate decision makers about the benefits of concrete densification as well as build a worldwide organization of sales representatives, technical field support and distributors.
The resulting effect of this forty year educational commitment has been the introduction of Ashford Formula and the densification process, by Curecrete, to virtually every major user of concrete densification technology today, as well as the resulting application of Ashford Formula on over three billion square feet of concrete surfaces worldwide.
Scott Liggett | Chief Executive Officer
Scott Liggett joined Curecrete Distribution as CEO in March 2010. Scott graduated in 1999 from Brigham Young University with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Logic. He was sought after by Curecrete especially for his amiable but effective leadership style and ability to formulate and execute a clear and successful vision for the continued growth of Curecrete.
Prior to Scott's coming to Curecrete, he was the Strategic Sourcing Manager for Brigham Young University. Scott was responsible for supervising a team which procured about 40% of all the commodities that were purchased by the University. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, Scott was responsible for maintaining and nurturing key strategic supplier relationships, which saved the University millions of dollars each year.
Scott believes that the success of Curecrete, or any organization, depends on each individual of the team fulfilling their responsibilities with a sense of ownership, competence, and pride. Consequently, a culture of accountability with a focus of getting everyone the tools and training they need to perform brilliantly will be one of Scott's key focuses.
When he is not working, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, outdoor activities, and playing racquetball. He has four daughters and a son, all of which adore their wonderful mother. Some other interesting facts about Scott include that he has owned a landscape company for 20 years and ran a trading post on the Navajo Indian reservation for three years. Scott enjoys any challenge and is excited about being part of the Curecrete family.
Bradley Gardner | Chief Financial Officer
Bradley Gardner is the Chief Financial Officer at Curecrete Distribution, Inc. and coordinates the accounting and financial functions of the company. He oversees accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger functions within the accounting system including reporting financial information to management.
Brad graduated with honors from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah. He is a Certified Public Accountant with memberships in both the American Institute and Utah Association of CPA's. He is also a past officer and board member of various professional organizations including serving as President of the Southern Chapter of the UACPA.
Prior to his time at Curecrete, Brad worked with the Grant Thronton International CPA firm attaining the position of Senior Manager. His responsibilities included client consulting and billing responsibility for various individuals and business entities. Since leaving Public Accounting he has worked in the industry as a Controller and CFO.
Brad has also been involved in positions of leadership with civic organizations and within his church. He is married with 6 children and 10 grandchildren. He enjoys many activities including fishing, golfing and tennis.
Massimo Poggio | Executive Director of Int'l Business & Managing Director, Latin America
Max has spent over ten years working at Curecrete Distribution. Beginning as Director of Technical Services, he quickly gained knowledge in many aspects of Curecrete Distribution working as Regional Manager over Latin America, Chief Operating Officer and eventually as President and CEO of Curecrete Distribution, Inc. He resigned when forced to take a medical leave.
Max has developed an intimate understanding of Curecrete Distribution and knows the ins and outs of all aspects of the company. He understands the vital role distributors and representatives play in the world market and he enjoys interfacing with the customers. During his tenure he has successfully nurtured international growth which is flourishing today. Following his medical leave, he has now returned as the Executive Director for International Business.
Max is a native of Milan, Italy, and graduated from Brigham Young University in engineering. Max is a natural for his position at Curecrete as he is fluent in four languages, has traveled the world extensively, and brings over 35 years of business experience. Prior to coming to Curecrete Distribution he founded and managed businesses in the auto industry including auto parts, service, manufacturing and owned dealerships including Ferrari, Fiat and Mazda.
In addition to Curecrete, Max loves classic and foreign exotic cars, building and customizing computers, traveling, and reading. He enjoys family time with his wife, Jane, three children and seven grandchildren.
Stan Watts | Managing Director, Europe
Stan Watts, Managing Director for Europe, has been in the construction business most of his life. At an early age, he attended a Technical School in London, where, besides the normal academic subjects, he was introduced to construction education.
Stan has worked in senior positions for some of the largest construction companies which include both administrative and on-site work. His scope of work included home construction, large civil engineering projects and also highway construction.
Stan joined Curecrete Distribution, Inc. in 1991 as a Product Manager in Europe. He was later appointed Regional Director for Western Europe, and then in 1993, promoted to Managing Director for all of Europe. He has been demonstrating his skills ever since.
Stan lives in England with his wife Rachel and their two children James and Lucinda. Stan and Rachel are heavily into horses with Rachel competing at a good level and Stan regarded as an authority on the history of British Cavalry. He is the current Chairman of The Light Cavalry Association.
Damian O'Neill | Managing Director, Asia Pacific
Damian O'Neill serves as the Managing Director of the Asia/Pacific region and has been involved with the Ashford Formula since 1984. Damian's involvement with the Ashford Formula includes serving as an applicator, contractor and distributor of the Ashford Formula.
For more than twenty years, Damian successfully grew and diversified his business, branching out to every state within Australia and employing more than twenty full-time employees. Damian quickly became known as an authority within the industry and could find any solution for any concrete flooring problem.
In 1998, Damian became the Ashford Formula Australian distributor and used his energies to develop a new sales and marketing strategy within the Australian market. Sales improved and Australia currently has individual distributors in each state.
Since 2007, Damian has been leading the Ashford Formula distributors within the Asia/Pacific region. His expertise and knowledge of the Ashford Formula and the concrete sealing industry has been an asset in improving the Ashford Formula promotion in the region.
Damian and his wife Lee-Anne currently reside in Victoria, Australia and have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren.
Mark Trunnell | Managing Director, U.S. & Canada
Mark Trunnell is the Managing Director of U.S. & Canada. His philsophy of doing business is based on building strong relationships with his customers, and seeing to their needs with a sense of urgency. Mark has said, "I want to earn the loyalty and trust of our customers, and I want their buying experience with Curecrete to be as easy and as positive as possible. It is my goal for them to see added value in doing business with us, and to know that we meet our commitments."
Mark's responsibilities include hiring and training representatives, providing technical support, establishing prices, assisting with intenrational sales, industry research, corporate account development and marketing support. He also plans and conducts national sales meetings.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University and a Master's degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He has been with Curecrete since 1994. Prior to joining Curecrete, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Walling Corporation in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada. Mark is a native of Provo, Utah. His interests include cycling, reading, sports and classic movies.
Mark loves to spend time with his family. He and his wife Michelle have five children.
Christine Tanner | Executive Director, Partnering Services Management
With almost two decades of experience in operations management, Christine Tanner brings a holistic approach to customer driven processes and sales strategy to the team at Curecrete Distribution, Inc. As the Executive Director of Partnering Services Management, Christine works closely to build relationships with companies across the globe and provide them with unmatched service opportunities.
Prior to joining Curecrete in August of 2000, Christine opened a diagnostic center for Health South, Inc., as well as the surgery and Lasik center for Hoopes Vision Correction Center in Sandy, Utah. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Brigham Young University, as well as a Master of Business Administration. Christine was raised in California and takes every opportunity to play in the sun.
Brent Green | Director of Relationship Development - Partnering Services
Brent Green is the Director of Relationship Development for Partnering Services and is responsible for identifying, establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with corporations around the world. He has had the opportunity of building relationships with several Fortune 100 Companies making sure their needs are met and receiving proper service.
Prior to working at Curecrete Distribution, Inc. Brent worked for 5 years at QuicKutz, Inc., working in several different capacities ranging from Account Executive to Western Regional Sales Manger. He was an integral part in helping the company grow from startup to $20 million in annual sales. Before working at QuicKutz, Brent spent a year working with the Utah Jazz of The National Basketball Association (NBA) building relationships with potential NBA players and participating in evaluating the prospective player's skills.
Brent holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Brigham Young University. He is married and has 3 children.
Dave Hoyt | Director of Technical Service
Dave Hoyt joined Curecrete Distribution, Inc. in the early summer of 2000. As the Director of Technical Services, his day-to-day activites vary widely from testing and research, to field training and technical support for over 65 distributors and representatives worldwide. Dave has a passion for efficiency and accuracy in both product and service. In 2005, Dave joined the American Concrete Institute as an associate and consulting member on their various committees. He participates bi-annually in the ASTM CO9-Concrete & Concrete Aggregate Committee to stay current on news and changes within the fast growing and widely expanding concrete industry.
Previous to his employment at Curecrete Distribution, Inc. Dave was the COO and Managing Director for GMG Products, Inc. He loves the outdoors and all that the majestic Utah mountains provide for fun. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Grantham University in Electronics Engineering Technology and resides with his wife Paige in Lehi.
Garrett Soong | Director of Marketing
Garrett Soong serves as the Director of Marketing for Curecrete Distribution, Inc. He joined the Curecrete team in October 2007 after completing his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University-Provo.
As the Director of Marketing, Garrett is tasked with articulating and communicating the unique and unmatched benefits of the Ashford Formula and Curecrete’s complete line of supporting products. He is also responsible for product branding and design, promotional campaigns, advertising, tradeshows and web-design and upkeep. He also assists and supports the many dedicated Ashford Formula representatives and international distributors in their marketing efforts. Garrett is proud to help the corporate team in maintaining the position of Ashford Formula as the leader in the concrete densification industry and the number one, most widely specified concrete densifier in the world.
Garrett is originally from Maui, Hawai’i where he was born and raised. He enjoys visiting his home state and spending time in the water and sun! Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations with an emphasis in Middle Eastern Studies from Brigham Young University-Provo.
Sheri-Ann Edwards | Assistant Director of Marketing
Sheri-Ann Edwards serves as the Assistant Director of Marketing for Curecrete Distribution, Inc. She joined the Ashford Formula team in December 2006, after moving from her home state of Hawai'i. Prior to joining Curecrete Distribution, Inc., she was employed with the County of Maui, Office of Elections.
As the Assistant Director of Marketing, Sheri-Ann is responsible for product branding and literature, promotional campaigns, advertising and trade shows.
Sheri-Ann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University-Hawaii. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family, serving in her church, reading and dreaming of the white, sandy beaches of Hawai'i. She and her husband, David, reside in Orem, UT.
Lee Cardon | Director of Information Technology
Lee Cardon serves as the Director of Information Technology for Curecrete Distribution, Inc. He is responsible for all of the Information Technology needs of Curecrete including the installation and maintenance of network hardware, software and phone systems. Lee has been championing technology at Curecrete since 1999.
Lee grew up in Santa Monica, California. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and has crossed the Equator aboard ship becoming a Trusty Shellback. He also speaks Korean - having lived in Korea for 4 years.
Lee likes to camp and hike with his 3 children, and enjoys reenacting the Western Fur Trade era of the Mountain Men.
Lee currently resides in Springville, Utah.
M. Grant Bowden | Director of Procurement Services
Grant Bowden joined Curecrete Distribution, Inc. in May 2011. Grant graduated with a Bachelors of Science in 1989 from the University of Utah in Political Science and with an Associate of Science from Snow College in 1986. While at Snow, Grant was a member of the 1985 Junior College National Championship Football Team.
Prior to joining Curecrete, Grant worked in the healthcare industry for over twenty years in Supply Chain and Project Management. He has worked for Health Choice Network of Utah, Central Utah Clinic, Jordan Valley Hospital and Intermountain Healthcare. In addition to this experience, he had the privilege of working with the 2002 Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games as the Medical Materials Manager. He has also worked in the construction and concrete industry.
Grant enjoys finding innovative and creative solutions to operational challenges. He is excited to be a part of the Curecrete Team.
Outside of work, Grant enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys spending time in the outdoors, gardening, hiking, exploring, ATVing, skiing and golfing. He and his wife are the proud parents of a son and daughter.
Phyllis Bradford | Director of Global Operations
Phyllis Bradford is the Director of Global Operations for Curecrete Distribution, Inc. and coordinates all customer service functions for the company. She oversees incoming orders, job data information reports, diamonds sales, product samples, literature requests and lead tracking services that locate potential projects within the United States.
Phyllis graduated with an Associate of Science degree from Utah Valley University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Phoenix, while working concurrently at Curecrete Distribution, Inc. She is currently pursuing her MBA and is planning to graduate in May 2012.
Phyllis grew up on a farm in Spanish Fork, Utah. Her hobbies include gardening, teaching swimming lessons and making jewelry. She enjoys spending time with her four daughters and her crazy brown dog Coco.
